iPhone Is No Longer Alone

Do you have an iPhone? Or perhaps you had to pick up the recently released Android phone by Google. Well guess what here comes the third big dog to the touch screen phone craze, the Blackberry Storm has arrived. There was a short period of time about a year I guess where the Apple iPhone enjoyed being atop the world and the only touch screen phone in the market. Well it’s starting to get crowded now as the big competitors are stepping up with their own touch screen technologies and they are all looking really good!

The iPhone continues to dominate the market and with the booming head start they got on the competition they will most likely remain at the top for quite a few years. The speed at which they were selling iPhones will no longer be a factor though as there are now some sweet alternatives to the iPhone. The first legitimate competitor coming from an unexpected rival that being the first ever mobile phone from Google the Android from T-Mobile. Your first decision should be what phone network you are willing to work with as the phones may be great but if the phone service you are with sucks than what’s the point of having that fancy phone.

BlackBerry StormThe next new competitor and this is comes from another big dog in the mobile phone market the Blackberry Storm for the Verizon Network. This is big for Verizon as they are the biggest network in the US but have been loosing ground to the iPhone of AT&T. I see the Storm as the real threat to the iPhones dominance as the company has a longstanding reputation in the business world as the go to mobile device.

So who has the best phone? That would be up to the personal preference of each user at least now there is a choice out there. All three phones are top notch entries into the touch screen phone market and thankfully with all these real deal competitors we should start seeing some price wars happening soon as well. I personally have managed to hold off on getting sucked into the touch phone craze but now with all these all other quality alternatives it will only be a matter of time ;-)
